In one sentence

A website audit is a full technical crawl of your site that documents every error holding it back — broken links, missing alt text, duplicate pages competing with each other, absent schema, indexing problems — and returns a prioritized list of what to fix and in what order.

Most marketing money is wasted on top of a site that cannot convert. Before a dollar goes into traffic, somebody has to know what is actually wrong with the thing that traffic lands on.

That is what an audit is for. Not a PDF of generic advice — a documented list of the specific errors on your specific site, ranked by what they are costing you, so the fixes happen in the order that pays back fastest.

What's included

The actual deliverables.

Not every item applies to every business. The quote decides which of these you actually need.

01

Full technical crawl

Every page, every link, every image. Broken links, redirect chains, orphan pages and crawl errors documented with the URL they sit on.

02

Tagging sweep

Alt text, heading order, meta titles and descriptions, anchor text — checked page by page against what search engines and screen readers actually need.

03

Schema validation

Structured data checked for errors and gaps, so search engines and AI assistants understand what each page is instead of guessing.

04

Indexing and sitemap review

Thank-you pages and internal URLs pulled out of the index, duplicate pages consolidated, the sitemap made to match reality.

05

Core Web Vitals monitoring

Load performance measured on real page data, with the specific assets or scripts causing problems named.

06

Plain-English fix log

A monthly report showing exactly what changed, what it fixed, and what is queued next. No jargon, no vanity charts.

A website audit is a full technical crawl of your site that documents every error holding it back and returns a prioritized fix list. It covers broken links, heading structure, alt text, meta data, schema markup, indexing problems, duplicate pages and page speed.

The output is not advice in general terms. It is a list of specific problems on specific URLs, ordered by what fixing them is worth.

A one-time audit is a snapshot. The monthly program is maintenance.

Websites break continuously — a plugin update, a new page added by a staff member, an image uploaded without alt text, a link to a page that later moves. The monthly program re-crawls the whole site, sweeps the tagging, validates the schema, restructures one page to answer-first format and reports what changed. The point is catching problems in weeks rather than at the next annual review.

Both are available, and they are separate decisions on purpose.

The audit documents the problems. A remediation sprint fixes them — alt text, heading order, duplicate page consolidation with redirects, thank-you pages set to noindex, schema deployed, outbound link security attributes corrected. You are free to take the findings to your own developer, which is completely fine; the report is written to be handed over.

Yes — that is the normal case. The audit is designed to run against any existing site on any platform, whoever built it.

It also makes a good handover document if you are changing agencies, because it records the state of things at a specific date.

A one-time deep audit is typically delivered inside a week or two depending on site size. The monthly program runs on a fixed cadence with the fix log landing at the same point each month.

Duplicate pages competing with each other for the same search term. Thank-you pages indexed and inflating conversion numbers. Missing or wrong schema. Heading structures that make no sense to a crawler. Images with no alt text. Navigation links pointing at pages that no longer exist. Forms that silently fail.

Almost none of it is exotic, and almost all of it is fixable.
